Plant operator — Lincoln County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Lincoln County, Mississippi. The job is on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance The role involves keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
