Stainless steel welder wanted in Mid Ulster

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £100 per day, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
