We are recruiting: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Day-to-day duties: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge Part-time with flexible hours.
