Vacancy available: fabricator-welder (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Glascock County, Georgia. You will be based on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends.
