Paint and prep technician • Elk County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Elk County, Kansas. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Your main tasks: • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
