Immediate opening: we are hiring a dogger in Switzerland County, Indiana. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day-to-day duties: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Rotating shifts. We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
