Urgent requirement: power press operator (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a power press operator in City of Radford, Virginia. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
