We are recruiting: panel welder (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel welder in Hancock County, Indiana. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends.
