Brick mason — Saint John the Baptist Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick mason in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one You will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
