Great opportunity: fusing press operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Wichita County, Kansas. You will work in a busy laundry. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day to day you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; give each garment a final press before packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
