Machine operator (earthworks) • East Lothian, Scotland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in East Lothian, Scotland. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. You will keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
