Hoist operator wanted in Jackson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hoist operator in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Meals and transport allowance provided.
