Vacancy available: bench joiner (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Catawba County, North Carolina. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Own basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent On a typical shift you will glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
