Precision welder wanted in Ziebach County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Ziebach County, South Dakota. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
