Argon welding operator — East Sussex

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in East Sussex, England. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On a typical shift you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
