Safety officer — City of Colonial Heights

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety officer in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. Day to day you will audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
