Vacancy available: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. You should have: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
