Gas meter installer wanted in Caldwell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Caldwell County, Texas. You will work in a gas distribution network. On a typical shift you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
