Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Part-time with flexible hours.
