Vacancy available: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Steuben County, New York. The role involves: • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to read and match factory paint codes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
