Restoration bricklayer • Yell County, Arkansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Yell County, Arkansas. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
