Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. The role involves: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Rotating shifts.
