Tile mason wanted in Cass County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile mason in Cass County, Iowa. You will work in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Day to day you will mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
