Sheet metal welder wanted in Boone County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Boone County, Nebraska. You will be based on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
