Turning centre operator • Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State. The role involves: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred.
