Now hiring: we are hiring a production line helper in Linn County, Iowa. The job is at a consumer goods manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Good hand-eye coordination and steady fingers for small parts Day-to-day duties: • Pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line • Top up the line-side bins and call for parts when stock runs low • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Pack finished units with foam inserts and seal the cartons • Carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts • Keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station 3+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
