Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Cullman County, Alabama. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Part-time with flexible hours.
