Banksman wanted in Merrimack County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. The job is at a power plant. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
