Great opportunity: elevator repair technician (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in City of York, England. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer £1,800 per month plus benefits.
