Now hiring: we are hiring a laundry presser in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a busy laundry. Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
