Now hiring: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Jackson County, Kansas. You will work at an industrial plant. You will spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape. You should have: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
