Now hiring: heavy equipment operator (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Laurel County, Kentucky. You will work at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Day to day you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely. 6+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
