Argon arc welder — Miami County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Miami County, Ohio. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 6+ years on the tools preferred.
