Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
