Kitchen porter — Livingston Parish

Join our team: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a hospital canteen. You will scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading. What we are looking for: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
