Stamping press operator wanted in Lincoln County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Lincoln County, Nevada. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses You will fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; record output and downtime on the production sheet; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
