Immediate opening: gas commissioning technician (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Chattooga County, Georgia. The role involves carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing 4+ years on the tools preferred.
