Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Winston County, Mississippi. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Your main tasks: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent 3+ years on the tools preferred.
