Argon welder — Lincolnshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Lincolnshire, England. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
