Great opportunity: foundry operative (Arizona)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Pima County, Arizona. You will work at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts You will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
