TIG welder • South Lanarkshire, Scotland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
