Pipe TIG welder • Scott County, Arkansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Scott County, Arkansas. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 6+ years on the tools preferred.
