Steel fixer wanted in Babura

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Babura, Jigawa State. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour 1+ years on the tools preferred.
