Milling machinist • Tippecanoe County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machinist in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. You will work at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
