Aluminium tig welder wanted in Cass County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Cass County, Minnesota. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day to day you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
