Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Portsmouth

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Portsmouth, England. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On a typical shift you will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
