Elevator service technician • Polk County, North Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Polk County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy lift company. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs On the job you will handle: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
