Floor screeder • Kings County, California

Now hiring: we are hiring a floor screeder in Kings County, California. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Day-to-day duties: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Rotating shifts.
