Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Elkhart County, Indiana. The job is at a power plant. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day-to-day duties: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
