Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Rockingham County, Virginia. Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Your main tasks: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals Full-time with occasional weekends.
